Here at Flox Hair, we deliver a fully perosnalized session that is relaxed, informative, & focused on helping you find a piece that feels natural & comfortable. During your consultation, we go over the following:
☆ An introduction to who we are & an in-depth walk through of what we carry.
☆ Cap & piece construction advice (wig vs topper, size, length, density, material difference, etc.)
☆ Lifestyle & maintenance conversation: how often you'll wear it, your typical activities (work, gym, pool), what day-to-day life looks like to you.
☆ Discussion of fibre choices (human hair vs synthetic, hair grades).
☆ Go over medical insurance & coverage you may be eligible for.
☆ Time for your questions & comfort: measurements, fit-check, try-ons (in-store).
☆ Next steps: selection, customizations, order timeline (for custom orders), follow-up support.
We ask that if you plan to try pieces on, please come with clean bio hair if you have existing bio hair. We also ask to not come with heavy face makeup, as it can easily stain the lace on our full wigs. If you already wear hair, please bring it to your appointment so we can understand what you've been used to wearing.
Our Virtual Consultations are held via Google Meets, with a join link being sent to your email just prior to your appointment time. We ask that you have a flexible measuring tape with you as we will be measuring your head during the call. *Please keep in mind that booking times are in Halifax Timezone ADT when booking.

Yes! We provide continued support including adjustments, wash & styles, colour touch-ups, refreshes, cuts & care services after your initial appointment.
You will be with one of our specialists, Emily, Jill or Sarah Jane, all of whom are experienced in hair loss & providing alternative hair solutions.
That is perfectly fine! At Flox Hair, we are a pressure-free space. Our consultations are designed to give you information & better understanding of alternative hair solutions that best suite your needs.
100%! Anything have in-stock we also have in-store ready to wear! The only reason why you may not be able to wear out same-day, would be if your piece is considered a custom order, meaning we don't have it in-stock, or it needs custom colour services done that require the piece to be left with us.
We kindly ask that you please book an appointment if you plan to visit us. By booking an appointment, this ensures we are in-office & not with a client when you come. To be able to try pieces on, an appointment is required.
